What’s not to love about a luxury home?

Imagine walking into your home with beautiful parquetry floors, high ceilings, light flooding into every oversized room in the whole house (except the media room where dark is good). Tasteful artwork adorning the walls, kitchens and bathrooms to die for, lounges that you just want to sink into and never leave.

And then you step outside… The bay (or beach – whichever you’d prefer) glistens at the end of the beautifully manicured lawn which is only interrupted by the sparkling pool surrounded by a cabana and deck chairs…

The cleaner has just left, the friends are due to arrive any minute – just after the caterer finishes prepping.

Oh, wouldn’t it be nice to live in luxury!

But if that’s all a pipe dream and someone else’s life, you can (and should) make the most of what you have.

Fill your home with things you love. Paint the walls colours that you love. Splurge on flooring that makes you want to take your shoes off. Invest in good furniture (but not when you’ve got a newborn!).

Create an outdoor space that makes you want to use it and a home that makes you want to come home.

Invest in your home, after all, a man’s home is his castle.
